Afterlife Research, Development, and Education that Needs Your Support

Information about important afterlife research and education projects that now need funding follows. The list changes as projects receive funding. Please check the list regularly.

Donors may give general donations to AREI in our effort to support these researchers, with AREI managing oversight of the projects, regularly reporting to the donor when requested, and disseminating the results. Or, AREI may link donors with specific afterlife researchers and either take a role in the successful completion of the work or allow the donor and grantee to work together without AREI involvement.

If AREI is managing the project, AREI will add to the budget to cover AREI expenses.

More detail about donor arrangements and bequests is at this link: Donations and Bequests

Recording Voices of People Living in the Afterlife

Researchers are now recording the voices of people alive and well in the afterlife. They bring comfort to family members and provide proof that people continue to live after the body dies. With your help, we will improve on the verified, clear voice communication with people living in the afterlife, making it widely accessible.

Using Technology to Record Scientific Evidence of the Afterlife

Sonia Rinaldi, MS

Sonia Rinaldi, MS

Instrumental Transcommunication (ITC) uses electronic devices such as digital recorders, radios, and video to record voices and images of people now living in what we call the afterlife. ITC provides the most convincing methods of validating, scientifically, the hypothesis of survival after death because it is verifiable and results in permanent records.

The Institute for Advanced Research in Instrumental Transcommunication (IPATI), coordinated by Sonia Rinaldi, MS, has been using a range of technology with increasing success to record the voices and images of people in the afterlife for 30 years. IPATI is seeking funding to refine the methods of recording afterlife voices and images and develop new methods. The results will have the scientific rigor that will provide evidence to the scientific community, and it will build a bridge that links spirituality and science.

Example of Sonia Rinaldi’s Work:

Sonia: “Would you like to leave a message to your mother?”

Little girl in spirit: “Mommy, I can talk.”

Refining Methods of Recording Voices of Loved Ones in Spirit

Rev. Sheri Perl MIgdol

Rev. Sheri Perl MIgdol

AREI researchers are using digital recorders and laptops to record the messages from people living on the next plane of life. The responses from people in spirit are as clear as the voices on the researchers’ questions. AREI trainers are teaching people how they can record the voices of loved ones themselves. The primary trainer is Rev. Sheri Perl Migdol.

Example of the Voice Recordings

In this example, a child in spirit responds to Sheri’s question about new software she acquired that had background noise that was originally in Portuguese. You will hear the meaningless vocal syllables containing no words in the background that the communicators convert into full, meaningful sentences.

Sheri: “Say something to me in English to let me know I should use this.”

Child in spirit: “I speak in English.”

Making Afterlife Connections Widely Available

People change when they have afterlife communication experiences. They are comforted knowing their loved ones are alive and well, and they lose their fear of death because they realize our lives continue after we leave the earth plane. AREI supports efforts to help people experience afterlife connections with their loved ones living on the next plane of life.

Making Medium Readings Widely Available to Heal Grief

Michelle Szabo, RMT

Voices Across The Veil makes afterlife communication experiences available to  a wide range of people. A small group of 6-10 people meets online with a tested and verified world-class medium via easily set up video conferences. Each person receives a communication from a loved one living on the next plane of life. The fees are 15% to 30% of what they would be for individual readings with a qualified medium. Voices Across the Veil provides an easily accessed, affordable way for people around the world to experience personal communication from loved ones who have crossed over.

Teaching People How to Have Their Own Afterlife Connections

R. Craig Hogan, PhD

R. Craig Hogan, PhD

Under the project direction of Craig Hogan, AREI president, AREI has developed an online training program that enables anyone to connect with loved ones living on the next plane of life. It uses a form of self-relaxation to bring the experiencer into a state in which the connections may occur. It then teaches the experiencer how to allow free, open unfoldment so messages can come through from the loved one. The experiencers fill out journals after each stage that are submitted to AREI. AREI reads each journal and coaches experiencers to help them learn how to have an afterlife connection by allowing free unfoldment.

Psychotherapists Heal Grief with Client Afterlife Connections

Psychotherapists today realize the spiritually transformative experiences their clients have are often communication with the loved one for whom the client is grieving. Pioneering psychotherapists have refined methods of helping their clients have afterlife connection experiences with their loved ones that heal their grief. AREI has supported development and dissemination of the methods to help people reduce their grief and realize that the transition from the earth plane is just a normal stage of their loved ones’ and their eternal lives.

Healing Grief with Psychotherapist Guided Afterlife Connections

Rochelle Wright

Rochelle Wright, MS, lMHC

Rochelle Wright originated the Repair & Reattachment Grief Therapy method. The procedure uses bilateral stimulation to bring the client into a state of mind in which afterlife connections with the person for whom the client is grieving occur. The Repair & Reattachment Grief Therapy method is 98% successful in helping clients have afterlife communications that are successful. The client’s grief is reduced from a high rating of 10 on a ten-point scale at the beginning of a session to scores of zero to three at the end of one session.

Educating the World about the Nature of Life and the Afterlife

Most people today have a limited, outdated understanding of the nature of reality and our place in eternity. They do not understand the reality that we are spiritual beings having a brief physical experience.  AREI supports the researchers and educators who are working to help humankind learn the truth. Eventually, their effort will help change humankind.

Helping Humankind Evolve by Teaching the Realities of the Afterlife

AfterlifeData.com is a compilation of information on a wide variety of topics related to life after death (the afterlife). The researcher administering the data compilation is Dennis Gregga, PhD. The information is freely accessible on the Internet. The libraries of information provide the knowledge people need to develop their understanding of the nature of life and the afterlife. AREI is working with afterlifedata.com and afterlifelibrary.com to create a series of educational materials that will teach people about the basic questions people have concern life and the afterlife.

Recording Afterlife Voice Contact in a TV Docu-Series

Todd Moster

Todd Moster

Todd Moster is a writer, producer and director with a background as a prosecutor and law firm partner. Todd Moster plans to produce a TV docu-series to help people realize we survive death with our personalities intact, and hard science can prove it. The TV docu-series will engage researchers in designing and testing equipment and procedures that result in successfully recording dialogues with people living in the afterlife. The recordings are called electronic voice phenomena (EVP) or instrumental transcommunication (ITC). The series is titled The Afterlife Files.

Physical Mediumship Dramatically Reveals the Afterlife

In a physical mediumship session, often called a seance, a group of people sit together in love and harmony. They sing and laugh and generally have a wonderful time. That raises the group’s vibration to the point that people in spirit are able to perform actions in the room: showing lights, moving objects, speaking clearly, and even materializing. AREI regards the dramatic demonstration of the presence and abilities of the people in spirit to be some of the strongest evidence the world can experience that will prove life continues after people leave the earth plane. As a result, AREI supports the physical mediumship circles and development of the mediums’ abilities.

Demonstrating the Reality of the Afterlife with Physical Mediumship

AREI's Seance Room

AREI’s Seance Room

In physical mediumship, the events are so remarkable that they prove to the experiencers that the afterlife is a reality and communication is possible. When many physical mediumship groups exist, people can attend the meetings and experience the phenomena that will demonstrate for them the reality of the afterlife and afterlife communication. The physical phenomena can be spirit lights, raps, knock, touches of the sitters, odors, movement of objects, objectives dropping out of nowhere into the room, full or partial materializations, voices that come out of a trumpet, the air, or a voice box created by the spirit team, table movement and levitation, and other such phenomena

Helping Families Learn How They Can
Have Uplifting End-of-This-Life Transitions

The transition from the earth plane to the next realm is a great awakening into the next stage of a person’s life. It should be shared by family members in the peaceful, private surroundings the person making the transition lived in in the last period of this life. The family present can share in the experience and be uplifted and changed by it. AREI supports organizations and individuals who are teaching people about having a fulfilling transition experience.

Helping Families Grow in Love and Understanding by Sharing Crossings

William Peters,

William Peters, MFt, MEd

The Shared Crossing Project’s mission is to raise awareness and educate people about the profound and healing experiences available to the dying and their loved ones, at any stage of life. The organization’s vision is to create a personal and collective understanding that consciousness doesn’t die. This knowledge alleviates the fear and anxiety surrounding death and facilitates a shift in consciousness that allows people to live more fully, with joy, meaning, compassion, and love.

While death and dying often bring up feelings of pain and fear, the Shared Crossing Project helps the dying and their loved ones understand what happens to consciousness as the body dies. Understanding reduces anxiety and enables the dying and their loved ones to be at peace. The Shared Crossing Project also teaches practices for facilitating a Shared Death Experience in which survivors share in early stages of the afterlife with their departing loved one, via the Shared Crossing Pathway.
