Ann Clark, PhD
Dr. Ann Clark is the Director of Research for The Newton Institute for Life between Lives®. She is co-author of Llewellyn’s Little Book of Life between Lives. She holds a PhD from the University of Chicago and is retired from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she directed the Center for Nursing Research and served as a research scientist in several University Medical Center Research Centers.

Donna Smith-Moncrieffe, MS
Donna Smith-Moncrieffe is founder and owner of Metaphysics Research, Inc. She has over 17 years’ experience overseeing evaluation teams contracted to conduct scientific evaluation research studies for the Government of Canada, City of Toronto, Corrections Canada , Ministry of National Security and Justice (Jamaica) and the Cabinet Office with the Government of Jamaica. Donna provides professional evaluation research advice to government agencies, non-governmental organizations (NGO’s) and private consulting firms.

Erlendur Haraldsson, PhD
Dr. Haraldsson has a PhD in psychology. He is Emeritus Professor of Psychology, University of Iceland and is a research associate with the American Society for Psychical Research. He has authored five books and has published in various psychology and psychiatry journals. Dr. Haraldsson has received the Outstanding Career Award from the Parapsychological Association and the Myers Memorial Award from the Society for Psychical Research.

Jan Vandersande, PhD
Dr. Jan W. Vandersande completed his undergraduate work at Swarthmore College, his MSc in physics at Cornell in 1969, and PhD in physics at the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, while studying the thermal properties of diamonds. He then was an Associate Professor at Witwatersrand and Cornell. He has published more than 80 scientific articles.

R. Craig Hogan, PhD
Dr. Hogan is the president of AREI. His PhD is in developing and researching training programs. Dr. Hogan has authored, co-authored, or edited eight books in the fields of consciousness and afterlife studies. His specialties are in managing projects and disseminating the results of the work.

Walter Semkiw, MD, MPH
Dr. Semkiw is a Board Certified Occupational Medicine physician who was assistant chief of occupational medicine at a major medical center in San Francisco. Previously, he served as Medical Director for Unocal 76, a Fortune 500 oil company. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa with University Honors from the University of Illinois and earned a masters of public health focusing on epidemiology and biostatistics for establishing scientific proofs. Dr. Semkiw obtained his medical degree from the University of Illinois and trained in psychiatry at the University of Colorado.
