Project Director

R. Craig Hogan, PhD
Dr. Hogan is the president of AREI. His PhD is in supervision and developing educational programs. He is the co-author of Consultant Supervision and the Personality Styles Inventory. Dr. Hogan has been a manager of communications at a telephone-billing service company, administrator of a graduate school distance-learning program, and owner and manager of two companies.

Finance

Lois Enochs
Lois Enochs was employed for 21 years by the Department of Defense, where she was awarded an Air Force Commendation Medal and the Inspector General’s Professional Performer Award. She then helped develop an expanding retail chain in San Antonio, was business operations manager for telecommunications at a major hospital system in Dallas, and launched a U.S. sales and distribution company in Phoenix for a German corporation.

Administration

Kathleen Malone
Kathleen Malone has been CEO of an Integrative Medical Oncology Center, vice president of operations and human resources for a Washington State production and manufacturing company, director of marketing and communications for an elite members-only business club, member of the advisory board for a nonprofit cancer foundation, and member of the board of directors of an Arizona chamber of commerce.

Education

Sandra Champlain
Sandra Champlain is the founder and producer of We Don’t Die Radio. She is the author of We Don’t Die – A Skeptic’s Discovery of Life After Death, which encourages readers to ease the fear of death, move through grief, and make the most of their lives every day. She brings her experience in producing a radio show publishing to AREI. Sandra is sprearheading an effort with Michelle Szabo and Dennis Grega to develop a university of educational materials.

Physical Mediums

Rob Blackburn
Rob is a history, civics, and language arts elementary school teacher. He is a graduate of Illinois State University with a BA in English, language arts, and teacher education.

Rob has extensive knowledge about physical mediumship and is an emerging physical medium sitting with the AREI Circle of the Masters of Light. The prediction from the team on the other side and the phenomena he is experiencing indicate that he will be developing as an ectoplasm medium.

Greater Reality Publications is a wholly owned publisher that specializes in publishing books by emerging authors in afterlife studies, research, and education. AREI Research Advisory Board

Ann Clark, PhD
Dr. Ann Clark is the Director of Research for The Newton Institute for Life between Lives®. She is co-author of Llewellyn’s Little Book of Life between Lives. She holds a PhD from the University of Chicago and is retired from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she directed the Center for Nursing Research and served as a research scientist in several University Medical Center Research Centers.

Donna Smith-Moncrieffe, MS
Donna Smith-Moncrieffe is founder and owner of Metaphysics Research, Inc. She has over 17 years’ experience overseeing evaluation teams contracted to conduct scientific evaluation research studies for the Government of Canada, City of Toronto, Corrections Canada , Ministry of National Security and Justice (Jamaica) and the Cabinet Office with the Government of Jamaica. Donna provides professional evaluation research advice to government agencies, non-governmental organizations (NGO’s) and private consulting firms.

Erlendur Haraldsson, PhD
Dr. Haraldsson has a PhD in psychology. He is Emeritus Professor of Psychology, University of Iceland and is a research associate with the American Society for Psychical Research. He has authored five books and has published in various psychology and psychiatry journals. Dr. Haraldsson has received the Outstanding Career Award from the Parapsychological Association and the Myers Memorial Award from the Society for Psychical Research.

Jan Vandersande, PhD
Dr. Jan W. Vandersande completed his undergraduate work at Swarthmore College, his MSc in physics at Cornell in 1969, and PhD in physics at the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, while studying the thermal properties of diamonds. He then was an Associate Professor at Witwatersrand and Cornell. He has published more than 80 scientific articles.

Walter Semkiw, MD, MPH
Dr. Semkiw is a Board Certified Occupational Medicine physician who was assistant chief of occupational medicine at a major medical center in San Francisco. Previously, he served as Medical Director for Unocal 76, a Fortune 500 oil company. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa with University Honors from the University of Illinois and earned a masters of public health focusing on epidemiology and biostatistics for establishing scientific proofs. Dr. Semkiw obtained his medical degree from the University of Illinois and trained in psychiatry at the University of Colorado.
